Sm3 Youth Helmet

Anatomically engineered specifically for youth and younger riders, the SM3 Youth helmet is optimized for motocross, enduro and off-road use. It delivers an advanced blend of performance, protection and comfort with technologies adapted from Alpinestars’ adult helmet range.

• Thermo-injected shell incorporates a special polymer blend with varying thicknesses for an optimal combination of impact protection and low weight.
• Impact-resistant thermoplastic outer shell is available in three youth shell sizes.
• Lightweight design weighs 1060 g (ECE) and 1170 g (DOT).
• Separate shell versions meet DOT and ECE requirements. The DOT-certified inner shell includes a composite fiber layer between the outer shell and EPS liner for enhanced impact protection.
• Multiple-density inner liner uses the correct density in key areas to improve impact absorption while reducing overall weight.
• Inner and outer surfaces are engineered to help minimize the effects of oblique impacts.
• Patented low-friction coating inside the main EPS liner helps reduce rotational acceleration forces from certain oblique impacts, acting as a slip plane that mimics the brain’s natural cerebrospinal fluid defense.
• Patented visor release system is designed to release at a predetermined force, helping reduce forces on the rider’s neck during an impact.
• Customizable crown and cheek pads allow the fit to be tailored and are available as genuine replacement parts in different thicknesses.
• The two larger youth configurations share the same EPS size, allowing fit customization as the rider grows. The smallest configuration uses a dedicated EPS size and can be customized through the cheek pads.
• Comfort liner is constructed using recycled materials to help reduce environmental impact.
• Integrated hydration tube channels in the cheek pads provide added convenience and performance.
